    About Our School

    all about whittier dolphins!

Whittier School is located at 1800 Whittier Avenue within the City of Costa Mesa. Our school serves 675 transitional kindergarten through sixth grade students. In addition, 79 preschool students are served in an on-campus preschool setting. Whittier also offers a Spanish Dual Immersion Program beginning in kindergarten. We have an active parent community participating in PTA and ELAC. We also partner with local community organizations and churches to support our students, parents, and staff.

Whittier staff believes that each child belongs to all of us.
We work together to support students in developing as healthy, confident, life-long learners and leaders.

All students at Whittier School will receive continuous support in learning English so they can access the core curriculum and become successful students within a safe environment. They will leave Whittier Elementary School with a solid foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, and citizenship. Our families will understand the important role they serve as a partner in their child's education and how they can work as a team member in helping their child reach his or her full potential.
